Departure Assistance
When the time comes to move back home or be reassigned to a new area, Universal Cargo advises and assists with all the property and other personal requirements.
We contact management agents/owners giving the required advance notice to end the tenancy according to the rental agreement terms. In addition, we supervise and make arrangements for the appropriate handling of:
- Property repairs, decorating and cleaning before move-out. The objective is to take care of minor property condition issues and minimise the Landlord's need to make deductions from the security deposit.
- Cancellation of current rental and lease agreements.
- Cancellation of home insurance.
- Cancellation of utilities and telephone lines including Internet.
- Assistance with final utilities/telephone bills payment.
- Recovery of utilities, tenancy and/or security deposits.
- Any other required relocation or family support.
