- Pre-departure health check, certificate and veterinary documentation
- Provision of IATA approved air kennel
- Pre-boarding prior to departure
- Flight reservation
- Customs formalities on arrival
- Delivery to owner's residence
- Quarantine service (if required)
Pet animals (cats and dogs) that come to Argentina do not need to go through quarantine. Only the following documents are necessary:
• Health Certificate.
• Vaccination Certificate.
For pet exportation you will need:
• Health and Vaccination Certificates from your vet.
• Health Certificate issued by the SENASA (Servicio Nacional De Sanidad Animal).
• Some countries require Consulate or Embassy approval of the SENASA Health Certificate. Also, for some countries it is mandatory that pets go through quarantine.
Important note:
Effective July 4, 2004 pets (Cats and Dogs) entering the Schengen Area must comply with the following guidelines:
• Microchip implanted in pet.
• Rabies Vaccination on the day the chip is implanted (regardless of other vaccinations)
• 30 days after chipping and vaccination, a rabies Blood Serum specimen is taken and submitted to an approved laboratory.
• Pet dogs and cats are eligible to enter the European Community member states 90 days after the draw date.
