The shipment must arrive in Argentina within 6 months of customer`s entry. Although it is not essential for the customer to be physically present at Customs for clearance formalities, he must be in the country to subscribe some forms and hand in his original passport.

Valid passport which clearly shows that the customer has been residing abroad for at least 12 months and that such residence has not been interrupted with entries into Argentina for more than 60 days in the last 12 months prior to re-entry
Two original bill of ladings or airwaybills.
Consular residence certificate. (only for returning Argentine residents) Inventory.
Authorization to our company subscribed by the customer to perform the customs clearance.

Foreign residents with temporary visa
|
Personal effects may be brought into the country under temporary admission pursuant to the current customs guarantee system. The effects must be “guaranteed” (bonded) during the term of the visa and the bond must be renewed prior to expiration.
The effects may be guaranteed by:
- a bond from an insurance company.
- The representative of the company the customer is going to work for (This company must be registered at the Customs as importer/exporter).
NOTICE: Should the visa have not been renewed upon the expiration of the bond, the effects will be re-exported. If the customer has obtained a permanent visa, the effects must be nationalized.

Foreign diplomats must obtain a diplomatic franchise from the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the diplomatic mission where they reside or the official agency where they are employed.
